ATMI Precast provides a full range of precast construction competencies and services from pre-bid to close out including: engineering, project management, manufacturing, transportation, and erection.

ATMI Precast is reimagining the art and science of innovative precast concrete design and digital integration. Embracing advanced BIM technology with fully associative drawings, ATMI Engineering is building a robust system that links design engineering with sales, production, and erection. We employ a dedicated and talented team of drafters, modelers and engineers, who produce construction- accurate models linking shop drawings, submittals, and production tickets. Utilizing a suite of programs such as Tekla Structures, Tedds and AutoCad,we can produce all documents accurately in a timely fashion and meet demanding schedules. Our staff of licensed engineers allows ATMI Precast to provide stamped drawings and calculations as needed to support all precast project commitments. In addition, our relationship with experienced structural precast design firms augments our internal capacity and allows us the flexibility to work on multiple projects and a myriad of precast building systems simultaneouslySee 3D Model.

Our project manager is the focal point once a precast project has been awarded. The PM will coordinate with the customer, design team, and other subcontractors to keep the project on schedule. The production plant and engineering department relies on our PM to disseminate the information to assist the plant in meeting its production needs to maintain schedule and production volume. Our PM is critical in pre-construction planning and site logistics, as each precast construction project and site is unique.

The ATMI Precast facility, is situated on 22 acres adjacent to downtown Aurora, Illinois. Our current plant layout consists of  20 production tables for prefabricated concrete structures such as beams, columns, slabs, and wall panels. Each production bed is unique and serves a particular need for strand tension, width, length, and finish. The indoor facilities are approximately 90,000 square feet and the outside production facility is approximately 30,000 square feet. All production tables are serviced by completely separated concrete mixing stations depending on the type of product being produced. We also have an adjacent 10 acres of outside storage to facilitate our production needs and to be more responsive to job site schedule changes.

ATMI Precast has extensive experience in shipping product both in and out of state, with route planning and permitting. We manage the shipping process from start to finish. We have the ability to load and ship up to 150 components/ day to several different project sites. We currently owns 150 trailers for daily delivery to our job sites. The precast concrete components are typically loaded the previous day for an early morning delivery and often returning to our shipping yard for live loading to complete the work day. The front-end tractors are subcontracted to experienced trucking firms.
